A children's book that is touching hearts across the nation
Baseball stars across the country are stepping up to support the award-winning children’s book, "A Glove of Their Own". The book promotes the message and importance of sharing what you have with those in need and we are proud to partner with SwapMeSports.com in their efforts to coordinate donations to help kids in need.
Sales of every book will benefit The Village for Families and Children, a wonderful organization that Swap Me Sports believes in. The Villiage is a nonprofit organization that has been protecting children and their families- providing them with programs and services that strengthen their lives for over 200 years in Hartford, CT.
Bob Salomon, co-creator of the book and driving force of the movement said, "As a little league coach and proud father of two, I am passionate about the importance of "paying it forward" and grateful for the opportunity to work with corporate America to promote this powerful message and help children across the country. "A Glove of Their Own" illustrates this message. It utilizes baseball and a childhood experience found within a group of underprivileged children that touches their hearts and changes their lives forever. Their love of the game is not defined by the equipment they don’t have but rather by the passion and dreams that they do have."
